Which Taco Bell redemption is actually worth your points?
Already know what you're ordering? Search for it below to see if it's worth spending your points on — or if you'd get more value saving them for something else.
Data: Orlando, FL area · 20 items tracked
Every item below is ranked by how much menu value you get back per point — its price divided by its points cost. Items in the top quartile (rated Best) are the strongest use of your points; items in the bottom quartile (rated Low) usually make more sense to pay cash for and save your points elsewhere. Search or sort the table to find a specific item, or see the FAQ below for more on how the numbers work.

best vs. worst redemption
Taco Bell Rewards works differently from Chick-fil-A One and MyMcDonald's Rewards: every redemption costs exactly 250 points, no matter which item you pick. So the ranking below really just tracks each item's menu price — the pricier the item, the more value you're getting for the same 250 points. See the FAQ for how the Hot/Fire tier system fits into that.

Value = menu price ÷ points required, shown as cents of menu value per point. Higher is a better redemption. Ratings are relative to this item set (quartiles), not a fixed scale. FAQ
How often is this updated?
This isn't a live feed — prices are checked by hand and updated when something changes, gets flagged, or gets submitted through the submission form. If a redemption looks off to you, flagging it is the fastest way to get it corrected.
Does this include tax?
No — the menu price shown is the pre-tax price, matching what you'd see listed in the Taco Bell app before checkout. The points cost is unaffected either way (it's always 250), so the value comparison holds regardless.
Is this an official Taco Bell app or website?
No. FastFoodPoints is independently run and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Taco Bell Corp. See the Disclaimer for details, and always confirm pricing in the official Taco Bell app before redeeming.
Why does every item cost the same number of points?
That's genuinely how Taco Bell Rewards works, not a simplification on our end. Every redemption is a flat 250 points, whichever eligible item you choose — there's no per-item points tier the way Chick-fil-A One and MyMcDonald's Rewards use. What changes is which items you're allowed to redeem: base “Hot” tier members can pick from 11 items, and “Fire” tier (unlocked once you earn 2,000 points within a calendar year, roughly $200 spent) unlocks 9 additional, pricier items on top of those 11. Because the points cost never changes, the best-value redemption is simply whichever eligible item has the highest menu price.
Why might the price at my location be different?
Taco Bell restaurants are independently owned and operated, so menu prices can vary by location and change over time. The numbers here reflect what's been collected and verified so far — if your local price is different, let us know so it can be checked.
If prices vary by location, are these rankings still accurate for me?
For Chick-fil-A, we've cross-checked rankings across four independent price samples and found them to hold steady across cities. We haven't done that same multi-city check for Taco Bell yet — these rankings are based on a single Orlando-area data collection pass, so treat them as a solid starting point rather than a cross-market-verified guarantee for now.
What does "¢/point" actually mean?
It's the item's menu price divided by its points cost, shown in cents. Since every Taco Bell Rewards redemption costs the same 250 points, this number tracks almost one-to-one with menu price — a $6.19 item and a $1.29 item cost the identical number of points, but you get nearly five times the menu value redeeming the pricier one.
How do you earn points, unlock Fire tier, and do points expire?
You earn 10 points per $1 spent at base (Hot) tier, or 11 points per $1 spent once you reach Fire tier. Fire tier unlocks automatically once you earn 2,000 points within a calendar year (roughly $200 spent), and it resets back to Hot tier each year if you don't requalify. Points expire 6 months after they're earned if unredeemed, and once you redeem a reward you have 31 days to use it before it expires.
