McDonald's Monopoly 2026: Key Dates & How It Works
FastFoodPoints's McDonald's value table is about MyMcDonald's Rewards points specifically — this page is about something different: the McDonald's Monopoly promotion, which is back for 2026 and runs on its own mechanics, separate from the points program. If you came here looking for points-value rankings instead, head to the value table.
When does it run?
McDonald's Monopoly 2026 started October 6, 2026 in the U.S. The in-app purchase window for collecting pieces appears to run into early November (reported as closing around November 1 — check the app for the exact cutoff, since dates reported for this part of the promotion haven't fully lined up across sources). If you want a free game piece without making a purchase, mail-in requests must be sent no sooner than September 22, 2026, and received no later than November 2, 2026. The Chance Card Game portion of the promotion runs through November 8, 2026.
How it's different this year
Unlike recent years, there's no free online entry option for 2026, and pieces aren't just attached to any purchase — you get one by ordering through the McDonald's app specifically. You'll need to download the app, opt into MyMcDonald's Rewards, pre-register for the game, and order a qualifying item from the "Monopoly at McD's" menu inside the app; the piece comes with that order for you to peel and scan. The only purchase-free route is the mail-in request described above.
What can you win?
Every purchase of a qualifying item gets you two separate things at once: a physical game piece for Collect to Win, and a Chance Card pull. McDonald's states the overall odds of that pull as 1 in 5, mostly food — the large majority of pulls land on a Food & Rewards prize, with a much longer tail of named prizes in the Chance Card Game table making up the rest of that same pull. Collect to Win works entirely separately, through matching property sets on your physical pieces rather than the pull. Here's the full breakdown of each.
Food & Rewards prizes
The large majority of Chance Card pulls land here. McDonald's doesn't officially publish counts or per-prize odds for these — just the overall 1-in-5 figure above. One quirk before you scan the list: the 3,500, 5,000, and 7,000-point bonus amounts below all show the identical count of 421,149 in the app — that's not a copy-paste error, just how those three happen to be allocated. Here's every food prize and bonus-points amount with its count, ranked rarest first:
| Prize | Count | Odds |
|---|---|---|
| 3,500 MyMcDonald's Rewards points | 421,149 | 1 in 1,903 |
| 5,000 MyMcDonald's Rewards points | 421,149 | 1 in 1,903 |
| 7,000 MyMcDonald's Rewards points | 421,149 | 1 in 1,903 |
| 1,500 MyMcDonald's Rewards points | 5,466,800 | 1 in 147 |
| 2 chocolate chip cookies or a mini McFlurry | 7,678,444 | 1 in 104 |
| A small McCafé frappé, shake, smoothie, or other McCafé specialty drink | 11,324,718 | 1 in 71 |
| 4 pc. Chicken McNuggets or a Snack Wrap | 15,528,529 | 1 in 52 |
| A small McCafé premium roast coffee or a small soft drink | 16,407,842 | 1 in 49 |
| A Double Cheeseburger or a McChicken | 18,102,346 | 1 in 44 |
| A McGriddles sandwich | 20,011,109 | 1 in 40 |
| Small fries or a vanilla cone | 24,086,287 | 1 in 33 |
| An apple pie or small fries | 30,263,370 | 1 in 26 |
The Odds column is the odds of winning that specific prize on a single Chance Card pull (you get one with every qualifying purchase, alongside your physical game piece) — but it's our own estimate, not an official McDonald's figure: McDonald's hasn't published a total number of Chance Card pulls for this promotion, so we worked backward from their stated overall 1-in-5 pull odds applied to every winning prize across this section and the Chance Card Game below, which implies roughly 801.5 million total pulls. Treat these as well-reasoned estimates, not confirmed odds.
Collect to Win: which piece should you actually watch for
Every Collect to Win prize needs a matching set of two or three properties from the same color group (or railroad group). One piece in each set is printed in far smaller numbers than the others, so there's really only one piece you're actually waiting on per prize — bolded below within its set. Ranked rarest first:
| Prize | Set needed | Available | Odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100,000 Toward Gold Bars | Short Line, Reading, Pennsylvania & B&O Railroads | 2 | 1 in 530.0B |
| $100,000 Cash | Virginia, St. Charles Place & States Ave. | 2 | 1 in 56.7B |
| 2027 Jeep® Cherokee | Ventnor, Atlantic & Marvin Gardens | 5 | 1 in 22.6B |
| Polaris vehicle | Vermont, Oriental & Connecticut Ave. | 8 | 1 in 14.1B |
| Universal Orlando Resort trip | Tennessee, New York & St. James Place | 15 | 1 in 7.5B |
| Kennedy Space Center VIP trip | Kentucky, Indiana & Illinois Ave. | 23 | 1 in 4.9B |
| Hilton Resort getaway | Mediterranean & Baltic Ave. | 25 | 1 in 375M |
| $5,000 Best Buy spree | Water Works & Electric Company | 30 | 1 in 364M |
| Carnival Cruise vacation | Boardwalk & Park Place | 50 | 1 in 187M |
| $500 Circle K fuel card | Pennsylvania, Pacific & N. Carolina Ave. | 760 | 1 in 149M |
McDonald's official rules confirm exact prize counts, but don't publish which specific piece in a set is the scarce one — that detail (bolded above), and the odds, come from the game screens inside the McDonald's app, not from a McDonald's press release. We cross-checked the prize counts against McDonald's own September 2026 corporate announcement everywhere the two overlap (Kennedy Space Center: 23, Carnival Cruise: 50, Jeep Cherokee: 5, Polaris: 8) and they matched exactly.

The rest of that same Chance Card pull — the long tail of named prizes behind the common Food & Rewards wins above, independent of the physical game pieces used for Collect to Win. Ranked rarest first. Counts below are read directly from the prize list inside the app, cross-checked against McDonald's own September 2026 corporate newsroom post everywhere the two overlap.

| $25 Cash | 16,360 | 1 in 48,995 |
| Peacock Premium 2-Month Subscription | 10,000,000 | 1 in 80 |
The Peacock Premium subscription count (10,000,000, in the expanded list above) is dramatically higher than every other prize here — that's not a typo, just how lopsided this pool is: you're far more likely to land a Peacock code than almost anything else in the Chance Card Game. As with the Food & Rewards table above, the Odds column is the odds of winning that specific prize on a single Chance Card pull, worked backward from McDonald's stated overall 1-in-5 pull odds — not a figure McDonald's has published for this specific pool, so treat it as a well-reasoned estimate rather than an official stat.

Is this available everywhere?
This year's Monopoly promotion is confirmed for the U.S. McDonald's has said Monopoly will not run in the UK or Australia for 2026, offering other campaigns there instead — so if you're outside the U.S., don't expect to see this at your local McDonald's.
Does this affect MyMcDonald's Rewards points?
Mostly separate, with one overlap worth knowing about: one of the instant-win prize types is a chunk of bonus points (1,500–7,000, see above) deposited straight into your Rewards account, so a lucky piece can genuinely pad your points balance. Outside of that, earning or redeeming points through the app has no bearing on which Monopoly pieces you get with a purchase, and vice versa. See the McDonald's value table if what you're actually after is which rewards redemptions are worth the points you already have.
This page is unofficial and for informational purposes only — FastFoodPoints is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by McDonald's Corporation, Hasbro, or the MONOPOLY brand. Official rules, the full prize structure, and the mail-in request address are available at McDonald's own promotion site, playatmcd.com. Eligible-item and mechanics details are cross-checked against NBC Chicago's and The Takeout's coverage. Several of the Chance Card Game prize counts above (the Jeep Cherokee, the Ulta Beauty codes, the Grubhub and Uber Eats gift codes, and the two $50,000 assistance prizes) are also independently confirmed by McDonald's own corporate newsroom, and matched exactly. The Food & Rewards counts, the remaining Chance Card Game counts, and the Collect to Win details were all read directly from the prize list inside the McDonald's app. Dates and mechanics can change — always confirm with the official rules before relying on anything here. Checked October 2026.
