Hotcakes Breakfast
Breakfast Exclusive — only orderable during breakfast hours, which vary by location.
0.08¢ of menu value per point. That's about 13% worse value than the average MyMcDonald's Rewards redemption.
At 5,000 points, the Hotcakes beats the Sausage McMuffin with Egg (0.08¢/point) — same points cost, different value.
Should you redeem it?
It's an okay redemption, but not a standout. If you're flexible, you'd likely get more out of your points on a Best or Good rated item instead — but if the Hotcakes is what you actually want, it's not a bad use of points.
The Hotcakes redeems for 5,000 MyMcDonald's Rewards points against a menu price of $4.19, working out to 0.08 cents of value for every point spent. Ranked against the other 34 redeemable items in the program, it comes in at #22 — a fair value. If you're deciding between redemptions at a similar points cost, the full value table shows every option ranked side by side.
